Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004 - 1:00 p.m. Greetings, In Sims news: I evicted the Newbies this morning. No more married with children couples left in the neighborhood except for the Goths and their days are numbered, although Cassandra is not really a child but some sort of eerie mini adult. Her father, Mortimer, is more a kid than she is. He plays with her toys while she chats with strangers and calls the police department when there’s a fire. So maybe the Goths can stay in the neighborhood. I’m trying to make my Ken Collinwood Sim gay, but it’s slow going. I make him dance with all the guys and he never flirts with Sin, but I don’t know how it will all work out. At the very least Ken Collinwood will never marry and will stay in his lovely home without a roomie forever. I love it that I named him Ken Collinwood because when I have Sin call him the phone says, “Call Collinwood” and that’s just like it says on my Caftan Night schedules. I’m going to wake up one day in Sin’s gorgeous bedroom I just know it. And what am I going to do when I get up? You got it: Call Collinwood. Meow is doing quite well. She had her shot this morning at 8 a.m. and is probably stuffing her face with Kitten Chow even as I type this. The vet bill is hovering around the $600 level which is scary, but I can pay it off in increments and I’ve got a teamshare bonus coming up soon. Love my vet, Dr. B. She’s going to be the one I request for all my kitty-related visits. All the vets there are great, but she goes the extra mile and she makes me graphs to look at to explain Meow’s glucose levels and I feel all medical and shit. She found Meow sitting in her litter box yesterday and so put a little fleece cozy bed in the cage with her and Meow promptly curled up in it and went to sleep. That’s what I mean about the extra mile. So all you New Orleanian pet owners who read this – if you need a vet, go to Prytania Vet on, you guessed it, Prytania. (Cross street Robert and about one block off of St. Charles.) Ask for Dr. B. She looks like a brunette Bridget Fonda too. I’m looking forward to Friends tonight – it’s not a repeat. And hopefully I can play Sims because I’m caftaning tomorrow night and I’d like to make a deal with Thomas that he gets the PC tomorrow night if I can have it tonight. Pending stuff on my desk, so I’m not to ramble on into infinity this time. Sorry. :) Until next time, Olrun
